Please note:
The tungsten steel blade exhibits exceptional sharpness and performs admirably with clay bodies that are relatively dry. Conversely, when working with wetter clay bodies, the use of a tungsten steel blade may lead to chattering problems. In such cases, it is advisable to opt for aluminum trimming tools.
 
How to care:
Although tungsten carbide is extremely hard, it is also very brittle. Therefore, it must be treated with care: Avoid bumping and dropping: The tools may break if they are hit too hard. Store them correctly: Always put them in a safe place to prevent them from accidentally falling off your potter's wheel.
